HTC Is Developing A Blockchain-Optimized Smartphone

During the Consensus 2018 conference in New York dedicated to the blockchain, HTC announced plans to release an Exodus smartphone, designed specifically to launch decentralized applications. Users will be able to store Bitcoin, Ethereum and other digital currencies. All this will be realized thanks to the technology of the blockchain.

I want to see a world where the end consumers can truly own their data (browsing history, identity, assets, wallets, emails, messaging, etc) without the need for central authorities. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but I believe the mobile hardware layer can contribute significantly to our new decentralized world.
